Hey, so i'm at the end of my 2 week trial and i admit that i'm a convert and to think that I had never even considered them with my first baby....all that money and waste I could have saved!
I just can't believe how easy they are to use (well, some more than others!) I have my favourites which are:
Smartipants
Tots Bots Easyfit
Fuzzibunz
They are so simple to wash and dry too. I feel like I want to spread the word - please mummy's / daddy's just give them a go. In the UK, the NCT nappy bank offer trials which I recommend as there are so many different types to chose from, you get to try a selection out before you buy.

Going Green with Reusable Nappies!
So, i've decided to finally give reusable nappies a shot. The NCT nappy bank have very kindly allowed me to borrow a range of reusable nappies.
The reasons i wanted to try them-
1) of course, i want to do my bit to reduce carbon emissions and reduce land fill
2) i'm totally fed up with bins around the house full of dirty nappies
3) to save some ££ !!!
So i'm into week 1 out of my 2 week allocated time slot and its all going ok. I say ok because to be honest, i have been given a (very) wide range of nappy brands and i must admit its all a little over whelming!! Smartipants, Tots Bots Little Lamb just to name a few! I hadn't appreciated how many different types of nappies were around. I have made the mistake of not keeping a note of each brand after i have used in. Still, i have another week to go and will be sure to make notes on each one so i can evaluate at the end
So, if any of you nappy gurus out there could give me any tips, i'd really appreciate that!

Country Park Discovery!
So the past few weekends, we have packed up the Jeep and ventured to explore some of Nottinghamshire's country parks. I must say, i'm pretty impressed with them and what a great way to spend a Sunday.
Shipley Country Park is great and we loved the zip line! My 3 year old managed to fall face first into a very boggy mud pit!
